Project goal
The project called for power shaping and maximum power point of a renewable energy micro turbine (20W). The challenge was that the voltage shifted so fast (lack of inertia) that a continuously adjusting MMPT algorithm could fail, leaving the critical downstream without power. Also the input power was to drive a lithium ion cell - whose capacity could change without warning and then output 3 voltages for sensor and auxiliary use.
